Tony Michael Slavin, went to sing to the angels on 17th June 2007. Tony worked for Fords/Jaguar in
halewood for 35 years. Tony was a beloved fiance to Carole Piggott and they lived together in
Prenton. Tony was a fantastic partner to Carole who she loves and adores unconditionally. A
wonderful Dad and Grandad, a true friend to many and an amazing character to all who had the true
pleasure to have known him. Tony was a born entertainer who loved to sing and dance and show off his
true personality and charisma to all who spent time with him.(Those who knew him well, know what I
mean). Tony shared his love with his wonderful partner Carole and they were due to get married on
7th July 2007....Sadly that day never came as he was chose to share his love and persona with the
angels on 17th June 2007. Tony used to have us crying with laughter... sadly now we cry for
him.....for we no longer have him... but our memories of him will always remain with us and our love
for him will live on forever. God bless Tony, We Love You. X X X X.

Hi Tony Well arent our new grandchildren lovely. and two more on the way. You always said you would look after me what ever happens I understand what you ment now. I Know with out a doubt you will always love me. The kids miss you so much always talking about you . I get the regular phone calls off George his cheerfull voice is always nice to hear. The Slavins keep in touch which I never doubted it is always lovely to hear off them. Dave an Moya visit often . Yes and all our friends from Tixall have been there for me. Our special friends well that goes without saying . My family and children i couldnt be without them x Tony I LOVE AND MISS YOU more then words could ever say. God bless and keep you in his care. Sitting here reading through everyones tributes and condolences when it really hit me that your grandaughter 'Brooke' will never meet the amazing, caring, and funny man we all knew you were. It hurts so much knowing that she is going to miss out on having such a wonderful man 'her grandad' in her life (she will hear all the stories when shes older though) Your not one to be forgotten Tony and you never will be. I was just passing and i read your story, i just wanted to let you know i am sorry for your loss, your story and the tributes left moved me to tears. I then looked at the pictures and laughed. Tony sounds and looks like a right laugh. I bet he is making all the other angels chuckle and making them smile. God bless you, take care, xx

hi tony, just thought we would drop in to say thankyou. we went to the local spiritualist church on thursday and who happened to come through? you...but you know that dont you! the lady described you to a t, how you always looked smart and how you loved socialising and you had a pint glass in your hand. she said you loved the song at your service and how it meant so much to you and how it brought everyone together. we were so pleased to hear from you....its like you never went away...how we wish that was so. well we both know what was said and we want to thank you for dropping by to chat to us and tell you we love you so very much and that love will never fade or go. keep smiling as we know thats what your doing as we were told....love you and miss you so much x x x

Tony. What can i say? A day does'nt go by without something reminding me of you. Thankyou for watching over me these past months and at times i knew you were there right at my side.You and me both know what i mean. hello tony, hope you are ok and enjoying gods garden. we still miss you so much and still cant get over the shock of you leaving us so soon. carole misses you so much but she is learning to cope that little bit more as time goes by. you will always be her true love and you will never be forgotten by anyone who loves you....night tony love and miss you x x x
