Tony Michael Slavin, went to sing to the angels on 17th June 2007. Tony worked for Fords/Jaguar in
halewood for 35 years. Tony was a beloved fiance to Carole Piggott and they lived together in
Prenton. Tony was a fantastic partner to Carole who she loves and adores unconditionally. A
wonderful Dad and Grandad, a true friend to many and an amazing character to all who had the true
pleasure to have known him. Tony was a born entertainer who loved to sing and dance and show off his
true personality and charisma to all who spent time with him.(Those who knew him well, know what I
mean). Tony shared his love with his wonderful partner Carole and they were due to get married on
7th July 2007....Sadly that day never came as he was chose to share his love and persona with the
angels on 17th June 2007. Tony used to have us crying with laughter... sadly now we cry for
him.....for we no longer have him... but our memories of him will always remain with us and our love
for him will live on forever. God bless Tony, We Love You. X X X X.

Saying Good Bye

Saying goodbye is never easy
especially to someone you cherish so much.
Saying goodbye is very painful when you know it's a final farewell... But no matter 'goodbye' stands for, it doesnt mean you could ever be FORGOTTEN...
For how could anyone ever forget someone as PRECIOUS and as WONDERFUL as you?
You were like a light, shining in the world, and you
inspired and touched the lives of all those who knew you.
You were PRECIOUS TREASURE that was dearly LOVED.
A SPECIAL person that was ONE in a MILLION.

So as difficult as it is, I sadly say goodbye.
You are dearly LOVED, and dearly MISSED and will ALWAYS be dearly CHERISHED.
Your MEMORY will LIVE on FOREVER in my HEART.
For YOU'RE IRREPLACEABLE and UNFORGETTABLE.
Tony I miss you so much it hurts. I was looking forward to becoming your wife . I know it doesnt change any thing because we would have been together forever. Felt like i had known you all my life. I feel blessed having had you in my life. thank you TONY for LOVING me. Our Family ' s

Tony

Great sadness in our hearts today as we look towards the stars,
For we have lost Tony, a special Friend of ours.
Tony was a special man whose qualities are rare,
Who could make us laugh at will and do anything for a dare.
He helped so many people with problems everyday,
A true friend 'Leave it to me' He would always say.
For times on our nights out with drinks and lovely grub,
Hilarity in the clubhouse and sessions in the pub.
Everyone will greatly miss Him, lives will never be the same,
Hearts will sink and rise again at the mention of His name.
We hope His resting place is peaceful and His spirit does live on,
Cherished memories and moments we will forever dwell on.
God has welcomed Him to Heaven and given Him the key,
The Love and Laughter will live on and eventually we'll see.
We know that God has chosen Him because He was the best,
Our Dearest Friend - Our Tony - It is now His time to rest.

Forever Family

Tony, we would have been proud to call you a Brother and not just a Brother in-law. You never had the time to make an honest woman of our Carole, but you always made her happy. Always entertaining Friends and Family, you could have entertained the World. Now you entertain the Angels in Heaven. It's quiet without you, but the memories you left will keep us laughing until we see you again. Keep us some good seats, as we're sure you are packing them in up there.
Remembered with laughter and missed with Love.
Eric and Sandie.

Keep On Singing

To our best mate Tony.
You were taken so suddenly and we didn't get a chance to say goodbye. The last time we saw you, you were dressed in your stetson and playing your stringless guitar, singing 'Ring of Fire' like only you could do. This is how we love to remember you, always the life and soul of the party, always laughing and having fun. We were so looking forward to being your Bridesmaid and Best Man at your wedding to Carole on 7th July, but then suddenly you were gone and we,and everyone who knew and loved you, just could not believe it. It's so unfair that you didn't make it down the aisle mate, you joked about running away to sea with the best man but we all knew that your future lay with Carole, who you so clearly loved and who loved you so much in return. Our nights out will never be the same again and who's going to be our stripagram now? We had such a good time the day we went to Liverpool for our 'mad Monday' as you called it. You got your suits in 5 minutes flat and were sitting in the Croc supping your pints. It was supposed to be a day to shop for all the wedding clothes but when we came out of James Street station, first stop was The Liverpool for lunch and of course.... a pint, followed by a 5 minute stop to buy the suits, followed by another pint, then straight to Little Coopers, where we spent the rest of the day singing and laughing. Funny,we don't remember doing much shopping at all that day, but we had a great day out and lots of laughs.Your life was all about laughs Tony and how we miss those days now.We would give anything to hear that chuckle of yours and to hear you sing or watch you get dressed up in one of your funny hats or costumes. If we were on holiday and we saw some hats, we would always take a look and see if we could find one we knew you would like. Any one who knew you well, will remember you with a smile. We will always miss you. Keep on singing Tony. Love you loads. xxxxx

We will never forget you and will always miss you Tony, you touched all of our hearts in ways no one else could, all the laughs, jokes, and songs always put a smile on our faces. I promise you, your grandchild will know how amazing you were and still are, we only wish you could still be here to show him/her yourself. Love you always Kev, Laura, & Baby Bump. xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
